For the system to guide you on how to apply makeups, you have to scan your face on the scanner. After successful scanning process, microcontroller is notified and it acts promptly by taking the image to the database where it is stored. With the help of the programs stored in the memory of microcontroller, the central processing unit instructs the scanner to examine the image and apply the best makeup on it that blends with the complexion. When the scanner is through with the makeup matching process, it sends the data to the microcontroller that in turn transmits it to the monitor for display. Original and makeup images of the client are displayed on the monitor for him or her to make a selection. After selecting the makeup image that best suits her, the monitor displays the guidelines on how to apply the makeup. It provides written and tutorial guidelines on how to effectively apply them to achieve that intended look. Lists of the products needed are also outlined. It clearly defines all the steps taken in achieving that look. When the client fails to understand any step, there is an option for thorough explanation. In every step completed, the client is supposed to scan her face for accuracy. This system has made makeup application process very easy and more accurate.
